Looks like Harp and Bowl Worship with the Word to me!
Here’s a new song we’re about to play on Monday nights at IHOP Great Plains:
Caught in the Mystery Celebrate what the Lord has made Celebrate what the Lord has done for us Celebrate what the Lord reveals In His Son, Jesus Christ Chorus 1: It’s the glory of God to conceal a thing And the glory of kings is to search it out Now the mystery has been set in Christ At His holy hill we will seek Him out It’s the glory of God to conceal a thing And the glory of kings is to search it out Now the mystery has been set in Christ At His holy hill we will seek Him, seek Him out Chorus 2: And the truth of God and the truth of man Has been shown to us in His wounded hands For the Crucified is the great I AM, and we Are caught in the mystery (c)2010 Sevensided Music

“For, undoubtedly, that which God abundantly makes the subject of His promises, God’s people should abundantly make the subject of their prayers.”

By now most of you know that the Monday night Harp & Bowl team has moved over to the west campus. Join us as we keep on contending for justice and making history. The following article can never be reproduced too many times. It’s what we believe. It’s what we aim to do.
History Belongs To The Intercessor!
By Lou Engle
Meditation:
“And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, ‘O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand. At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved’” (Daniel 9:22-23).
Reflection:
What an amazing scripture! An archangel fights his way down to earth to give this message to a man: “This is what heaven thinks of you! You are highly esteemed, greatly beloved, in heaven!” This is not merely a sentimental statement. This is God pouring out his heart to a man who is such a friend of heaven. To this man, God is able to freely share his divine intelligence as to what He wants to do, not just in the future, but also NOW in this present throbbing moment. Oh to be such a friend of God!
This same sentiment is spoken of Abraham, His friend, when the Lord held his council meeting with two angels, asking, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?” before given Abraham access and authority to preside in prayer over the destiny of Sodom and Gomorrah. Such high and lofty thoughts cause us to be stretched in our thoughts as to the significance of man before God. Like David we cry, “What is man that Thou art mindful of him?” I believe that human beings are called into a celestial board meeting to converse with the Lord as to the destiny of peoples and nations. May God find a person who can stand in that council room and deliberate with Him as to the future of America, the future of our universities, and the future of Iraq, Iran, Israel, and all of the Middle East!
Prayer:
God, I want to hear that voice, “You are highly esteemed…” Our vocation is nothing less than to move angels and demons. God raise up your ecclesia, Your ruling body in the earth. Help us to know who we are as we stand in the majesty and authority of the man Christ Jesus. God we come out of our caves of insecurity with the intercessions of Christ being groaned within us knowing that history belongs to the intercessors!

Welcome to the new IHOP-Great Plains blog! Brenda speaking here, and I’m one among many worshipers in Sioux Falls infected with the fever to see 24/7 worship happen in the Great Plains region. At the invitation of Pastor Steve Hickey of Church at the Gate, our team of Harp & Bowl worshipers have made Church at the Gate’s north campus our home and we desire to see a company of “modern day Levites” worshiping and inteceding around the clock so that our region can experience the spiritual breakthrough it needs — especially in such strategic times as these! So much is at stake. Our nation is in an extremely pivotal year with the presidential elections just around the corner. A new leader will take office and could rewind the spiritual clock back to our Christian values — or could further advance the current direction of dismissing God from the United States of America. Now is the time for true worshipers to unite together to shape history. Let us seek the Lord while He may be found and call upon Him while he is near!
I’ll be back soon with more to say……..I’m just getting started!
